History: Established 1000 years ago by Necromius Grandus to create a niche for diaspora of users of Resurrection magicks away from the blades of the Justicars and Paladins of the Southern kingdoms, as the Arch Duchy of Lichenstein it expanded to incorporate the greater part of the Northern Wastes. 200 years ago the current capital of Draugrburg was founded due to its massive reserves of energy both physical and supernatural around the facilitation of movement of the spirit denizens of the Empire it is seen by some as a Neo-Gothic technological terror while others see it as a perfect synthesis of magick and technology.
